Wonderful trip
I came back yesterday. It was really wonderful trip to my country, India . I went back to India almost after one year. I enjoyed a lot during this trip. I have done so many things during this vacation. I will post one by one as I find the time.
I celebrated the Diwali festival with my family this time. Diwali is auspicious festival for Hindu families. My all relatives gathered at my home. We purchased new clothes and gold jewellery. I purchased wonderful chain with golden locket for myself. I do believe in Astrology and that’s why I did nakshatra-shanti. Also, I have put on ‘Emerald gemstone’ in my ring. It is said that Emerald makes ‘Guru’ powerful and now in my kundali Guru is powerful. (Few of you, may not understand what I am saying…)
I have purchased very nice clothes. As I can get good Jeans here in the UK , I decided to buy some nice trousers. Trousers are very cheap in India and I can get the perfect fitting.
I have cleared IELTS exam and now I am concentrating more on medical study. But still I am thinking about rejoining the Linguist. It will always good to be in touch with English. If I stay out of touch I might lost my fluency. I think I will join the Linguist in a few days.

Hi Shashi,
Welcome back!
It is good you enjoyed your trip. I'm looking forward to read you.
Welcome back and I hope also back on TheLinguist. I find your blogs are very interesting. I think it is very important to stay in touch with English and for that reason TheLinguist is a good address. I also agree with your experiences with grammar. Sometimes it is better for me to know some grammar rules. For that I have a good grammar reference book with many examples. What does your German learning? I am curios about how works TheLinguist when I will start learning a complete new language.
I have added your blog to my VOX neighborhood and I look forward to your next posts.
@ Ken
Thanks Ken...I am seriously thinking about rejoining the Linguist...How is your study going on? and what about your music?
@Mark
It was wonderful trip...I was very excited to go back to my home after one year...
@Sumiko, Mariane, Tana
Thanks...I am glad to see all my Linguist friends...Tana, have you join another group?
@Annet
I am glad that you are enjoying reading my blog...You are right. Language learning is ever lasting process and if you are out of touch then you may forget. That's why I have decided to join Linguist again. How is your English learning going on?
Hi Shashi,
Interesting post on your trip back home! I am in London now and would love to get together for a coffee,beer or lunch. When and where would be convenient for you? My son's phone number is 0208-874-4611. Give me a call and I hope we can get together.
I gather Tana is tied up, but we could also meet Mira, another Linguist learner who works in a pub at Victoria Station. I will be in Paris from Nov 15-17 and return to Canada on the 19th.
No, I haven't. But now I'm on a basic membership and I need a break :) I'm going to take it very soon.
As for my work, I mean music, I really am swamped.
